The largest employer in the city is the famed aircraft company Boeing, which has nearly 10,000 workers. Originally a farming area, Kent has becoming a burgeoning bedroom community with many people commuting to Seattle for work. Families can enjoy the opera, a NFL football game, a trip to the Space Needle, a day out on Puget Sound and many more fun activities.1
