David E. Frederick View Specialties

Dr. Frederick initiated Argus Psychological Services over a decade ago after coming to Huntington to work as a staff psychologist at the local community mental health center.  Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fremont California. Before then, he did postdoctoral internships in a Pennsylvania state psychiatric hospital, and a Pittsburgh community mental health center and an Ohio medium security prison. 

He also had a private practice in mediation of couples’ divorce settlement agreements and for couples in seriously troubled marriages, served as a volunteer counselor in a 24-hour crisis intervention service, and also set up a support group for people with a rare neurological disorder called Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

PhD degree in clinical psychology – Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Psychology 
MA degree in counseling psychology – Santa Clara University MS and PhD degrees in nuclear physics – University of Illinois BS degree (with honors) in physics – Yale University
