Therapist:  Working as a clinical psychologist for more than 15 years, my approach to treatment uses the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of therapy which explores deep rooted issues that may have resulted in long-standing characteristics and behaviors that might be negatively influencing one's life and also helps one better explore, understand and heal the "self.".  Have you ever said to yourself "a part of me thinks it's a good idea but another part of me does not?" or "there's a part of me that knows what I should do but another part that says don't worry about it!"  If you are like most people you may find that from time to time you feel you are at war with yourself!  IFS therapy is a gentle therapy that helps individuals better understand why they think, feel and act in the ways that they do.  I am also trained in other therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) among others and find using an eclectic approach to therapy is often very helpful.

Founder:  In 2003 I co-founded the Solace Eating Disorder Clinic.  The clinic offered intensive outpatient therapy for the treatment of Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Overeating.   In 2016 I became an affiliate with Lifestyle Transformations (www.lifestylenational.com) and am now offering an 18-month, evidence based treatment program for Food Addiction and Compulsive Overeating responding to those struggling with weight and food.
