Anger, like all emotions, is purposeful and functional. However, when it begins to dominate our interactions with others, especially loved ones, we work together to determine how to control it effectively. We examine deeper feelings anger may be concealing (like hurt, disappointment, embarrassment, etc.). We identify the early stages of anger (i.e. annoyance, frustration) so that you can intervene early with coping skills like relaxation and other cognitive strategies.
