Change can be hard...but not impossible; people can alter their lives. I want my clients to achieve their goals and navigate their way to fulfilling lives. Since 1988 I have had the privilege of helping clients of all ages and stages and have pursued advanced training in state of the art techniques. The opportunity to voice feelings and receive support in a confidential, non-judgmental setting is essential. My clients say my commitment, engagement and honesty helps them open up and be real with me. Through our work together, my clients become more self-aware of their emotional triggers, learn how their past affects their present and how to create positive changes in their lives.

Depression is a complex syndrome that means different things for different people. Self blame and judgment can be part of the picture. Depression can be a crisis and also an opportunity to address current circumstances that are troublesome and patterns that do not contribute to healthy living. Often depression is about a need to let go of past hurts, address beliefs that are not "the truth," and learn new coping skills. Therapy offers a safe place to focus on this.
