Lynda is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has been counselling for 20 years. Her expressed love of doing therapy brings a natural energy and humor to her craft. She views therapy as a mutual effort between clients and their counsellor and values and is honoured by the trust her clients place in her. Her clients testify to her warmth and the ease of building relationship with her. Her education includes an MA in counselling psychology and specializations in advanced Gottman marital therapy, advanced Satir therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, and non talking trauma therapies - EMDR and One Eye Integration. Her love of learning keeps her pursuing educational opportunities in an ongoing way. Lynda enjoys her work as a private practitioner, a supervisor and trainer of new clinicians, a retreat speaker and consultant. She has worked part time as a mental health clinician for 16 years, giving her a wealth of experience in a number of areas.
