Winkler is located in southern Manitoba with a population around 9,600.  It is, however, the largest city in the Pembina Valley and is considered the centre or hub for agriculture, commerce and other industries.  Winkler is also Manitoba’s sixth largest city and is one of the fastest growing in the area.  The city dates back to 1874 when the Russian Mennonites settled the area.
