Current Education

The Eastern Idaho Action Community Partnership offers various educational programs aimed at improving family functioning, strengthening family bonds, and facilitating academic and intellectual growth. Grandparents who serve as the primary care provider of their grandchildren can enroll in courses to learn about parenting today's teens, common emotional issues children encounter, and school-based issues such as cyberbullying. Support groups are also available to provide further resources to grandparents.4 Adults who wish to enhance their ability to obtain employment or who seek to improve themselves can receive G.E.D. support and tutoring. Volunteer teachers are available each week to assist individuals in preparing for reading, writing, math, social studies and science subject matter on the G.E.D. exam.
