About Me
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a
Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Six years of medical training offered me
experience and insight to see individuals in a holistic manner. During my
training, I enjoyed spending time with patients, talking through their medical
and psychological issues, and exploring how they impacted each other. Ultimately,
I realized that I needed to change my path and pursue a career in Counselling.
As a counselor, I have had the pleasure of helping people
work through a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety,
relationship issues, guilt, shame, addictions, unforgiveness, rejection, and
low self-esteem.
I know that counselling can be a very daunting experience,
and discussing your personal problems with a stranger can be very difficult. I
therefore believe the most important aspect of counselling is to build a good
rapport with my client. I am a good listener, empathetic, and non-judgmental,
and offer you a safe and comfortable environment to discuss your problems. As a Christian, I have the heart and
compassion to see you move forward in order to live the life you are destined
for.
