A bit about me...
Personal
It is my passion to walk alongside people and support and guide them through difficult times. I have done this for over 30 years, as a therapist and as a nurse. I KNOW the power of healing. I am married for 37 years and have children and grandchildren. Winnipeg is my home.
Academic Qualifications
Masters in Counselling ( Providence College and Seminary)
Bachelors of Arts in Conflict Resolution( University of Winnipeg)
Licensed Practical Nurse( St. Boniface General Hospital)
Numerous professional development certificates: boundarys, reconstructing guilt and shame, interpersonal therapy
My Approach in Therapy
is to: help you struggle through difficult decisions
be a non-judgemental listener
explore new ways of seeing things
provide accoutability for new decisions
provide a safe and caring enviroment
regain self-confidence
teach how to forgive
regain positive self-esteem
It is is relationships-with ourselves and with others, that pain comes into our life. It is in relationships-with ourselves and with each others, that healing and restoration comes.
