I believe that relationships are the foundation of life.

When we experience painful events and the trust in our relationships seem compromised, it can feel like the ground is taken from under our feet. From the bottom of the hill, the slant upward can seem steep and daunting, and the journey upward can feel hopeless. It takes courage to reach out and find a supportive and experienced therapist who can help you restore your life.
I am committed to walking alongside you as we explore key areas where you are feeling stuck.
Our work together will include helping you overcome stressful experiences and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and others. We will work towards helping you build secure and fulfilling relationships so you will never need to journey up the hill alone.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist and PhD candidate at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis, I have received extensive training in the areas of attachment, development, and neuroscience.
I specialize in working with
  • Complex relationship issues
  • Women's issues
  • Parenting issues
  • Post-partum depression
  • Adoption
  • Early-life trauma
  • Sexual abuse
  • Divorce and blended families
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Creative professionals
  • Helping professionals, such as psychotherapists, educators, and pastors

My work combines the latest research within the fields of psychology that work hand-in-hand to explain how our childhood environments shape our inner world and influence the way we react to situations, especially stressful ones throughout our adult lives.
  • Attachment theory
  • Neuroscience
  • Affect regulation
  • Trauma
  • Contemporary psychoanalysis
