The staff at VCFR reflects men and women with a diverse range of clinical experiences and therapeutic skills. We are privileged to have a remarkably gifted and dedicated staff. Having an array of effective therapeutic interventions from which to choose, allows the therapist to design the most effective therapy approach for each individual, couple or family. Our therapists possess practical wisdom from years of training and direct clinical experience.
What makes VCFR Different?
In addition to having excellent training, extensive experience, dedicated men and women, our practice is “faith friendly”. This combination places VCFR in a unique position in the field of behavioral health. When it comes to the issues of faith, we see clients from all walks of life. And since the therapists at VCFR come from a Christian perspective, and if faith is an important component in the client’s life, we are sensitive to spiritual issues. We meet each person with compassion right where he/she is and effectively address the presenting problem and the underlying emotional, physical and spiritual issues.
We want to see people that are depressed regain their zest for life. We want to see marriages in distress become a place of friendship and nurturing. We want to see folks struggling with anxiety or panic attacks find effective ways to reduce their anxiety. VCFR is where, as trained professionals and seasoned counselors with hearts of compassion, we are sensitive to each client’s beliefs; valuing and respecting his or her expectations for the counseling process.
