The Bible says, "A wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel (Proverbs 1:5)." As an ordained minister and Licensed Professional Counselor, I understand the importance faith plays in your life. I also understand that true healing cannot take place apart from Christ. It is my desire to help you address whatever your particular problem may be in a loving, Christ-like environment. You won't be condemned. You won't be judged. You will hear truth spoken in love, and be pointed towards solid, biblical solutions.

Men, if you are looking for a counselor that works from a Christian base, and, is not going to try to shame you, I may be a good fit for you. Too often we focus only on the shame we feel for what we have or have not done, when there is much more that God offers: there is forgiveness, healing, and serenity for each of us. Why not claim these for yourself? Call me.

For 20 years, my framework to all life-coaching and therapy has come from Biblical anthropology. I believe in God the creator and Scripture is clear about man's basic nature. This provides hope for anyone struggling as foundational truths exist to provide hope for change and answers to many of life's common struggles. One of my Master's degrees came from Dallas Theological Seminary where I was trained in Bible & theology as well as the board requirements for counseling psychotherapy.

I firmly believe that there is a God who wants us to be happy! Every day people are faced with choices to make, and it becomes difficult to see what choice is the best one. I believe that we must do our best to align ourselves with God's will, as our Higher Power has our best interests in mind. The Bible offers a blueprint for success in life, and if we turn ourselves over to His will, good things will happen.

When people of faith claim a connection to their God, they benefit from using a counselor that can frame their struggles in words that are reflected in their faith. With an understanding that our lives fall under a Creator they are connected to, it is important that the counseling process acknowledge, support and guide in light of this connection. I have been ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). I trained at both Perkins School of Theology (at SMU) and Amberton University. My counseling practice is a "Validated Ministry" within Grace Presbytery.
