This course is designed to orient students into the treatment of addictive symptoms in clients or their family members. Students will begin to develop knowledge of addiction and skills for support and intervention through reading assignments and by projects meant to allow observation and insight development, including completing an additional area of research to overlay skills gained from the course on an additional area of interest related to addiction treatment.
