My approach to clients undergoing career issues begins with an assessment to determine the type of problem, including lack of direction, negative performance reviews, workload anxiety, lack of advancement, or the need for a transition. Once we've established the priority, treatment includes setting goals together and developing a therapeutic relationship, including coaching, to support and maintain the client's progress.

Having worked as an employment specialist, I consider myself an expert in all types of career counseling. I have worked extensively with the N.Y. State Education Dept. (Access-vr) to assist clients with mental health disabilities to succeed as individuals and valued employees.
