Although career counseling is not one of my primary roles with my clients, we often include this in the treatment plan as people's work, jobs and carers are a significant parts of their lives. Help my clients evaluate their current work situation and we look for ways to create more balance between work and other areas of their lives. A big part of career counseling also includes the development of healthy stress management skills. If the client is ready to make a career change we create a plan that will best support them through that transition.

When I retired from professional football, I went on to work for the NFL to help other players navigate the difficult process of transitioning careers.
