One of the descriptions of Jesus was as the mighty counselor. He placed himself among the hurting, sick, disabled, confused, rejected, and downhearted offering them hope, grace, kindness, and help. I attended Lincoln Christian Seminary and completed a Chaplaincy internship to understand to the best of my ability how to use faith in helping others heal and find wholeness.

I will never tell you what to believe or what your faith should or should not look like. Spiritual and Christian approaches in counseling are meant to incorporate your faith as it comes up for you in your life. We can use relevant examples from your religion to guide you, as YOU see fit. We’ll identify the strengths and also challenges that come up for you which are related to or are affected by your faith.
