Anxiety issues and how they affect our lives are my main focus. How we eat and how much, how well we sleep, the way communicate to friends, family and loved ones and how we perceive and engage in daily challenges affect our anxiety levels which in turn contributes to more or less anxiety. I bring over 15 years of expereince working with patients in various forms of partnership, utilizing a unique blend of behavioral, health education and therapuetic approaches with positive results in a majority of those I work with.

I believe anxiety and stress are for a large part the disconnection of the individual from their body and emotions, while they live a life in their head with minds spinning. Reconnecting a client to their bodies through mindfulness practices is one method I use to help with these stressors. This can also include building aspects of clients' physical activity such as exercise and creative expression. I also believe in integrating cognitive therapy to help shift unhelpful anxious thoughts about past and future which I consider to be the source of misery for many.
