I have been treating clients with grief-related issues since 1995. I understand the void of losing loved ones and work closely with my clients to help them realize their potential, once a loved one passes away. I also am experienced in treating grief issues which are unrelated to death, but have a very similar impact. Those abandoned by a loved one can be devastating. I see my role as assisting my clients in making sense of their sometimes unbearable circumstances and learning to create a positive future for themselves, in spite of their emotional pain. I provide a safe, compassionate environment to move through the grieving process, which is crucial for recovery.

I am sincerely sorry you are suffering. When you lose someone, or something, important, it can be so very painful. I have a very high level of training in helping people with these sorts of pains. You may have lost a person, a relationship, or perhaps a pet? I understand how bad such losses can be. It can feel like no one will ever understand. But you will receive my full attention, support, and high level of both academic and clinical training as we work together to attempt to sensitively, properly process your loss and slowly increase your quality of life. The loss of someone significant in our lives can be life altering. It offers more changes and emotions than we could have anticipated. Loss is processed differently at different points in life. I specialize in children and adolescent's grief and loss issues. A child's grief is often wrapped up their identity, sense of the world and their safety. I support young people in exploring all areas grief effects, for them personally. It isn't just people we lose. The journey through childhood can present other loses that impact self-of-self and the world.
