The symptoms and causes of depression are unique to the individual who experiences them. It is important to consider the unique circumstances of the whole person. This means considering biological factors, social factors, emotional factors, spiritual factors, and thought patterns that may be leading to depression. I help clients explore the root of their symptoms and help them develop strategies for dealing with their symptoms and root causes. I address shame and help clients move towards greater self-compassion throughout the healing process.
