My style and approach is one that readily engages children and youth in a trusting and safe relationship. I use directive activities to address issues such as anger, trauma, stress reduction, social skills and self-esteem. Play based activities are used to engage otherwise resistant children to help them verbalize their presenting issues, reduce their anxiety and encourage self-disclosure. The children and their parents walk away with effective tools.
