I provide brief solutions-focused psychotherapy to help clients assess personal and professional functioning, clarify goals, and strengthen social and emotional skills. I specialize in brief online relationship counseling. Online counseling allows clients to seek help as needed, engage in therapy at a schedule that's convenient to them, and keep their counselor as they progress through life. I work with LGBTQ and hetero clients on individual, couple, and alternative relationship concerns. I provide psychotherapy to adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, career, and relationship stress. Therapy can be effective in helping you identify and process your emotions, untangle your thoughts and worries, heal from past wounds/relationships, and improve your confidence. When you schedule your first initial session with me, we will work together to determine what you want to get out of therapy and create an action plan of how to get there. Each session we will focus on a therapy goal and start exploring how to get closer to that goal through processing, activities, techniques, and research-based interventions.

Through talk therapy, we can look at these limitations and work together to make changes in how you think and how you act. The results then change and you will find yourself in new and healthier places in your relationships, and your life.

My emphasis is on helping clients deal with whatever problems are foremost in their daily lives, right now. While I can, and will, deal with issues related to the past, I believe most people are looking to solve current problems and move on. In taking that focus, I sometimes investigate the dreams people are having, because current dreams are always attempts to solve current problems. I always look for a client's strengths, and try to use them to help the client figure out what he or she needs to do now.
