I work with married couples, as well as other couples in long-term relationships. In some cases, divorce, or the threat of divorce, is in the air. Sometimes, the same arguments come up over and over again, and never get resolved. Living with another person has many benefits, but it also often means there will be disagreements between the two of you. After all, you are two different people! Couples counseling can work wonders toward resolving some of those issues, while also teaching you how to thrive in spite of the issues that can't be fully resolved.

I facilitate constructive and open dialogues to strengthen relationships. Through effective communication strategies and conflict resolution techniques, I guide couples in addressing issues and enhancing emotional connection. My goal is to help partners rediscover shared goals, improve mutual understanding, and cultivate a healthier and more fulfilling partnership.

In couples counseling, my approach is rooted in fostering open communication, understanding, and collaboration between partners. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where both individuals can express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Through evidence-based techniques, such as active listening, conflict resolution strategies, I help couples develop effective communication skills and enhance their emotional connection. By working collaboratively with the couple, I strive to empower them with tools and strategies to navigate conflicts, rebuilds trust, and cultivate a healthy and fulfilling relationship.

In couples therapy the goal is to teach spouses to learn how to intervene with each other, to make their next conversation better, providing tools to work with to learn how to change communciation patterns, self soothe and even soothe on another. My work involves helping couples find a way to honor both of their life dreams, resolve conflicts and have a stable and satisifying marriage. Therapy involves an assessment of the marriage, the marital friendship- rebuilding positive aspects of your life together, dealing with conflict and improving interactions, reducing stress, rekindling the art of conversation, creating fun together and finding balance.

My goal for couples is to help them learn how to create a better marriage using the wisdom an d principles found in God's word. I help couples create a dependency on Jesus in their marriage, develop new emotional intimacy, and effectively communicate their needs to their spouse. I believe if I can help each spouse to grow to become their best self and stand on their own two feet that their marriage together will thrive.

Couples desire a relationship with their partner to be loving, caring, honest, and trustworthy. At times, poor communication and a lack of skills can hinder the development of a loving relationship. At Christ Centered Counseling we assist couples with learning the value of their relationship from a biblical perspective. I help couples understand underlying issues in their relationship, explore how their past has shaped their present behavior, and gain a better understanding of each other’s emotions.
