All people perceive and/or experience loss in their lives. As part of the healing process I support people in transforming these experiences to a place of safety and acceptance. Together we extend the human power to survive and thrive despite adversity. My client's lives are enhanced as the negative impact of loss and grieving is diminished and a positive shift is experienced in their awareness.

Grief and loss can come in so many forms. Losing someone you love, whether it is from an end to a relationship or death, can be very distressing. It can cause depression and fears that there may not be anything or anyone better of you out there. Therapy can help you not only to learn to take better care of yourself but help you move forward with your life in positive and healthy ways.

You may experience grief from any significant loss including loss of a person, divorce, job loss, loss of health, loss of a friend who has moved, or loss of the familiar when you move. Each kind of loss affects each person in a different way. Common feelings include numbness, not feeling yourself, anger, depression and anxiety. Our focus is on helping you recover from the loss and move through the grief process without getting stuck. Everyone grieves in their own way. Our approach is as a supportive guide, helping you make the transition by understanding and coping with your feelings and reactions, developing self-care, support, and compassion and helping you reach a stage of acceptance.
