Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) helps clients build skills that will translate to everyday life in a safe environment. Some of the skills that are worked on during sessions with horses may include coping mechanisms for anxiety and fear, learning how to communicate, assertiveness, and others. Working with the horses also helps clients learn techniques to reduce stress.
