Careers are integral to the identities of many people, while for others careers are simply means for attaining a happy life. Whether you’re developing your first career or looking to switch careers, I use a combination of assessment batteries and counseling to explore my clients’ goals, preferences, and aptitudes to identify their career path and develop a plan for achieving it.

As a former Marketing Manager for a Fortune 100 firm, I have obtained considerable experience in dealing with career issues. As a VP of a national coaching firm, I was further able to hone my skills utilizing assessments to determine the best career path for an individual to take. As with virtually anything else, I concentrate on strengths rather than focusing "areas for growth." This strategy empowers an individual to thrive in the best possible environment for them as individuals.

It is not uncommon to wonder what one's purpose in life is. It is not uncommon to hate your job and feel you inner self telling you that you were meant for more in life. It can be confusing and painful if you don't know what "more" looks like and how you can be paid to do it. I have found that psychotherapy can be quite magical in naturally helping this process. The more we get to know ourselves, the more we understand our desires and passions. Once we know ourselves better, then the focus can move to how to get paid to do what we are most passionate about, how to do work that is meaningful to us.
