Seeking a deeper relationship with God and turning to the scriptures for inspiration and "answers" has gotten me through difficult times in my life. Since not all clients of mine practice a given religion, this is a place I visit with my clients only if s/he requests it or counseling leads us to the discussion. Remaining non-partial on my viewpoints will remain so unless brought up by the client as it is not my place to evangelize through counseling or instill my own values on the client, but to help the client on his or her own journey.
