PLEASE NOTE: I am not accepting new clients at this time. If you are currently searching for a therapist, please feel free to contact me by email and I will be happy to refer you with a colleague.
I’m April, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about assisting women with accomplishing their personal goals and providing a safe space to navigate their world. I believe in being compassionate, transparent, and honest. I provide a place where you can come as you are and work through the concerns that are causing you distress. When requested, a Christian perspective can be integrated into therapy.
I understand and can assist with:
Counseling for women and mothers
I offer therapy for women and mothers at any stage of motherhood. Support is provided for life transitions, pregnancy and birth related issues such as pregnancy stress, infertility, miscarriage, infant/ child loss, birth trauma, postpartum stress, and the transition to motherhood. Within this space, you will find that you have the freedom to take off the mask and breathe. Here, you can honestly explore the concerns that are hindering you from living a fulfilling life. I will provide support as you journey through the storms of life.
Grief and Loss
Additionally, I specialize in providing support and space to process the loss of a loved one or beloved pet.The loss of a loved one or pet leaves a void in your life that cannot be filled. We will work on processing any traumatic memories and/or emotional distress, reducing anxiety or stress, exploring feelings of guilt, and establishing routines.

Chronic Illness
Being diagnosed with a chronic illness is most likely something that you did not expect to happen in your life. Maybe, this is a illness that you’ve witnessed family members or others struggle with.   It’s possible that no one close to you has been diagnosed with this illness. Whether you have a recent or longstanding diagnosis, support is provided in counseling to discuss the emotional, physical, interpersonal, and spiritual challenges associated with having a chronic illness.
A space is provided for loved ones who need assistance. The reality is that loved ones are effected as well. If you are the family member of loved one who needs someone to listen to you, please feel free to connect with me. You will be offered a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to process your experience.
