Carol Guthrie received her master's degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia. She also has a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, she holds a Masters in Special Education from the University of North Georgia as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. She has over 20 years experience helping children and adults with issues that kept them stuck. Carol has counseled clients with co-dependency, abuse recovery, anger issues, and relationship issues as well as grief counseling and divorce recovery. She has also counseled individuals with dual diagnoses and autism spectrum disorders. Carol Guthrie is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and offers classes and individual counseling for court-appointed cases and for people who need direction in becoming assertive. Her classes are individualized for the special needs of each client. She has written a book on Anger Management, an ebook available on Amazon Kindle. The price of the book will be refunded for those who attend an anger management class. Additionally, Carol has written a book about fixed and oversimplified ideas that women have about themselves (stereotypes) that cause them harm. She offers new insights about how women adopt societal views that are harmful to their self-esteem and she suggests methods they can use to transform these negative views. Please see:
