Anger management is dealt with differently on an individual basis; as everyone has specific triggers, as well as a unique reaction to each. However, I have found that a set of proven techniques work very effectively in most cases to reduce situation-specific anger, as well as lingering anger in general. Clients will learn to restructure the way they view the triggers for their anger, as well as more appropriate ways to respond to these situations. Relaxation techniques and methods of releasing anger are also utilized in order to keep anger from building up.

Expressing anger in an emotionally healthy assertive manner is the best way to deal with it. The problem is most of us have not been taught healthy ways to do just that. Our goal is to help you understand your anger, what triggers in within you, and to help you change the patterns from which anger springs.

Growing in awareness and consciousness can be a means to overcoming the feeling of being overwhelmed anger. I will also help people who deny or are unaware of their anger develop more effective ways to resolve their conflicts. The effort is not just to develop behavioral techniques but rather to understand the origins of anger in unresolved feelings and stress and to develop new understandings of the dynamics of anger.
