Being Herd:  An Equine Assisted Relationship Experience

Do you find yourself feeling disconnected?  or ignored?  or dismissed until you lose your cool?
Would you like to find a way toward cooperation in your relationships rather than constant conflict?
Would you like to have healthy, fun, "stable" relationships?

In Being Herd, you will discover what are those relationship patterns that create this repeated dynamic in your relationships. Your facilitators -  Dr. Beverly Walsh, Ange Finn, and the Red Dun Ranch Herd -  introduce you to the Natural Lifemanship principles that are the universal building blocks for healthy, stable relationships.  This 2-hour workshop combines education of the Natural Lifemanship model, with demonstration of self-regulation techniques, and a chance to experience the principles with an equine partner.  Participants continuously comment how much insight they gain from their partnership with a horse in such a short time frame.

Being Herd is a "grounded" experience, no horsemanship experience is required.  In healthy relationships, having choices is essential.  The Red Dun Ranch herd is at liberty to be anywhere in the 7-acre property, allowing for choice in how, when, and at what pace to develop a relationship with participants.  This honest, non-judgmental feedback and connection is what creates the powerful setting for learning and growth.

Being Herd is offered one Monday per month.  Depending on the season and weather, the time of the workshop may be early morning to "beat the heat" or later in the afternoon to allow some time for the day to warm up.  Refer to the Schedulicity calendar for dates and times.  The workshop is limited to 6 participants, ages 18 and over.  Cost is $100.
