Do you love to paint, draw, scribble, write? Do Origami and Chinese paper fortune-tellers fascinate you? Have you always wanted to explore your creativity, but don’t know where to start?

Then this workshop is for you!

This workshop is designed to help you create a small folding pop-up book that can be used as a meditative anchor or a travel-size journal! This little gem folds into a 2x2 inch square that easily slips into your purse  or pocket, so you can take it with you for insight on-the-go!

Join us for a fun and interactive 2 ½- hour workshop given by a local therapist specializing in  holistic and creative arts practices. No prior art experience is needed, although it is welcome. All materials will be provided.

You will discover:

  • How to create a unique pop-up book from a single sheet of paper
  • How to combine the art materials to maximize the interplay
    between the visual landscape and the written word
  • Quick and effective ways to use the book as a small touchstone or anchor to guide, inspire,
    and direct you: whether it’s to spark your creativity, serve as a launch point for your daily
    journal practice, or offer you something to meditatively reflect upon
