Not having a "bag of communication tools," they do not know how to navigate the waters of disagreements, different perfectives, and relational components. Having someone outside the family circle can provide a safe environment to begin to deal with those difficulties. I offer that kind of opportunity to be able to review and revise old patterns of communication in order to experience more satisfying relationships.
