I love working with families who are open to guidance and accountability. Most of my experience with family therapy involves working with families with children and/or parents who are neurodivergent. I can offer tools like EMDR, mindfulness practices, creative and fun techniques, and a fresh, unbiased perspective on the potential causes and solutions for your family's challenges.

Family therapy is based on the belief that each family is a unique social system with its own structure and patterns of communication. These patterns are determined by many factors, including the parents' beliefs and values as well as the personalities of all family members. I assist in identifying conflicts and anxieties and helping families develop strategies to resolve issues and strengthen family members so they can work on their challenges together. During therapy sessions, the family's strengths are used to help handle challenges and all members take responsibility.
