I provide individual psychotherapy for anger management. Anger is normal emotion that everyone experiences. It becomes a problem when one expresses anger inappropriately or one lacks the proficiency to express any emotions but anger. I use Humanistic and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help my clients understand their anger, improve their emotional experience, and express their emotions in healthy ways. A healthy emotional life is the cornerstone of living a full and successful life.

We will explore tools and interventions to cope with feelings of anger and support you in developing greater capacity for managing stressors at work, at home, and in your relationships.

With understanding, one can identify the best strategies to manage intense emotions safely, improve the ability to tolerate frustration, and decrease angry outbursts. Clients find that with learning assertive communication for healthy, safe emotional expression, the door can be opened for new possibilities for peace, contentment and personal power. Anxiety and stress are prevailing conditions of the 21st century that so many people are currently experiencing and they stem largely from thought patterns, external pressures and unrealistic expectations of ourselves and others.
