The integration of your faith can be so important to you. I am a graduate from Johnson University with a Bachelors in Bible and Counseling. My Masters is in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Professional Counseling. My approach is to integrate faith when asked for by my clients. It is important to use the counseling space in a way that is comfortable and does not harm my clients. For my clients who have experienced spiritual abuse I use care to provide counseling to be safe and a place of healing based on what my clients ask for. Integration of faith can be a healthy part of your treatment if you ask for it to be part of your care.

Glyndora is a Christian and has been since she was only 9 years of age; and is active in provision of teaching and benevolence. She has suffered through major traumatic situations and credits God for her peace as she strives to learn what He is teaching her. Spiritual beliefs add hope and strength during the process of healing. Empirical research evidences the benefit of including the spiritual aspect of therapy with those who also believe so as to help healing of the moral injuries that have occurred and to provide additional support. The first 12 step program was based upon scripture and was evidenced effective. If clients wish to include this component-we are able to assist.
