Amy provides a warm, safe, and supportive environment where her clients can explore their issues and challenges they face. Amy feels privileged to be able to offer her assistance to others on this shared journey and commends you for reaching out for help to make things better. Amy wants your time with her to be a place where you can talk willingly and sincerely about relationships, money, mother in laws, poopy diapers, sex and more, and still feel comfortable, acknowledged and understood. If you drop the F-Bomb: drop it. If you want to throw a temper tantrum throw it. If you need to shed some tears: you have a shoulder to cry on. Most predominately expect to laugh a little because that is what life is about, accept yourself entirely, mend your relationships, and move mountains.

WHY GOING TO THERAPY DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE WEAK OR FLAWED
Let's first shake the stigma of therapy by saying -you're not nuts, nor broken, and there's nothing inherently wrong with you. Life can be hard, things change, difficulty occurs, and things happen. Just because you see a therapist or have seen one in the past doesn't mean you are mentally ill or crazy. Everybody goes through challenging situations in life, and while you could have effectively steered through other complications you've faced, there's nothing wrong with looking for additional support when you need it.

Therapy is for individuals who have sufficient self-awareness to grasp that they need a helping hand, and that is something to be admired. By changing the situation and seeking therapy, you are taking responsibility by accepting where you're at in life and making a commitment to improving the situation. Therapy provides support, long-lasting benefits and gives you the utensils you need to elude triggers, overcome challenges and re-direct damaging patterns.
