Are you struggling through a difficult season and feeling overwhelmed and discouraged? Does therapy sound like it might be your next right step, but you aren't sure what it will be like?

I understand. My goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible by creating a judgement-free, compassionate space where you can show up honestly and authentically. Clients who have worked with me have said it’s like sharing with an understanding friend. I aim to be an ally on your journey. With an ally by your side, you can meet challenges with more optimism and hope.

As I get to know you, we will decide together what moving forward might look like for you. Along the way, I will try to help you hold self-compassion alongside your desire to see growth and change. As we quiet your inner critic, you will see the path to transformation more clearly. I love to help clients break free from unhealthy patterns and create a better future.
I also enjoy helping couples who want to restore and renew their relationships. Living and growing through life together can be challenging, and life situations can strain even the best of relationships. I love to help couples strengthen and improve their intimacy, recover from disconnection, and restore emotional bonds. Eighty percent of couples struggle in their sexual relationship at some point. Many don’t get any help and see their relationships suffer and deteriorate. Working out issues in intimacy can be the inroads to a deeper, richer, and more satisfying relationship. I try to create a relaxed environment where couples feel comfortable discussing that aspect of their relationship.

I also work with individuals dealing with the effects of relational distress, chronic illness, family dysfunction, and past trauma. I use strength-based, non-pathologizing approaches to help clients break free from unhealthy patterns and deal with difficult emotions. I also offer support for clients in their overall healing and wellness with holistic modalities when appropriate and desired.

I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have additional training in Christian Sex Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).  I also have certificates in Functional Medicine Health Coaching and Biblical literacy, and can help clients who want to explore issues related to physical and spiritual wellness.

In addition to my clinical training, I bring a context of life experience that includes a 30+ year marriage, and raising 3 children.
