Since COVID - therapy has become more accessible for individuals, couples, and families. We know that therapy is most beneficial with the right therapist. Virtual therapy allows clients to work with the therapist of their choice, regardless of which community they live in. It also allows clients to access therapy from anywhere, couples and families to access from different locations, and provides increased comfort and anonymity.
We are very confident in our skills and our team. We have clients from all over and they continue to refer their loved ones to our practice. This is the greatest testament to the work we do. Shannon Ritchie, MC, RCC is the owner and Clinical Director of Currents Counselling. She works directly with her team and provides clinical support / supervision. Shannon has been working with couples and families for more than 16 years, and as a clinical therapist for more 8 years.
We work to assess the dynamics the family, individual, or relationship is responding to. We understand individuals and families are navigating hard things and patterns of behaviour are hard to break, shift, or change. We want to understand these unique dynamics and offer individualized support, free of judgment.
