I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a clinically trained pastoral psychotherapist; in practice over twenty-five years. I use my training in individual dynamics, relationship issues, and energy work to help you understand your issues and to begin to resolve them in healthy new ways.  You will learn how to identify the sources of your problems, how you might hold them in your mind and body, and how to release and resolve them. I am also an ordained minister by way of background.  When clients prefer I utilize theological and biblical examples, but do not impose particular religious values on clients, other than the value of compassion.

Couples learn how to understand themselves and their background and to have compassion for each other.  They also learn how to communicate more clearly, to make up front requests, how to say no gracefully, and how to argue fairly. They are also encouraged to appreciate similarities and differences in styles and values and to overcome differences.

In treatment I offer my skill and experience as a therapist, a minister and a practitioner of reiki and body work.  I honor all spiritual and religious backgrounds and feel that compassion is at the common center.

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield.
