Dr. Jordan Maile is a registered psychologist providing online therapy/counselling in the Vancouver area (but can see clients anywhere in BC)

 Treatment Specialties:
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Anger
 Therapy:
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): CBT is a structured and typically brief type of therapy aimed at helping individuals learn skills to better manage their symptoms and improve the quality of their life
 Assessment:
  • Psychodiagnostic Assessments: this type of assessment provides a general overview of an individual's psychological functioning and may provide a mental health diagnosis(es) if appropriate (e.g., Social Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, etc.)

Cost:
  • Initial Consultation (Free): I provide a free initial telephone consultation (usually about 10 - 15 minutes) so I can get a better sense of what you're seeking help with. I will also provide information about what to expect in the therapy process. It also gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have and see if we'd be a good fit. Note, you are not obligated to see me after a consultation; it's only intended to provide you with more information so you can make the best decision for yourself in seeking a mental health care provider
  • Sessions: $235 per 50 minute session
 Location:
  • Vancouver: while I am located in the Vancouver area, I am conducting only online therapy services (via Zoom), so I can provide services to anyone in British Columbia (BC)
Background:  I'm a registered clinical psychologist and a member in good standing with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC #2315). I'm also a member of the British Columbia Psychological Association and Canadian Psychological Association.

In terms of education and training, I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (with a dual clinical and forensic specialization) from the City University of New York and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia. I have worked in various settings, including private practice, a university counselling centre, hospitals (both inpatient and outpatient units), and correctional facilities (in New York, Ontario, and BC).

On a more personal note, I have an identical twin brother who is also a psychologist, so you may come across his profile as well!
