Personal Bio
Judy is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in the State of Missouri. As a therapist with the Marriage and Family Institute, she offers a full range of therapeutic services for couples, individuals and groups in her Clayton office. Some evening and Saturday hours are available.
Judy believes a collaborative approach to her work is most important as she helps her clients achieve their goals for therapy. She will walk beside you on your healing path with a combination of professional counseling techniques with plenty of encouragement along the way. Her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary affords the opportunity to integrate excellence in clinical expertise with a Christian faith and values perspective.
As a therapist who strongly believes in maintaining professional training and keeping up with new research, Judy regularly attends conferences and seminars on a wide variety of clinical topics. She consults regularly with Linda Hermann, LPC, MO #2254. On an on-going basis she commits to monthly meetings with other professional therapists who study male/female relationships and the best practices work effectively with distressed couples. She is an active member of Psychotherapy St. Louis and belongs to several professional organizations.
