Having worked in mental health for over 10 years and being a mother of two young children, I bring both knowledge and understanding to working with parents, individuals, and families. During my career I have worked in a variety of counselling roles including inpatient and outpatient treatment centres for youth and adults, individual counselling, and working at a perinatal clinic with mothers and their young children.
I work from a person-centred approach and believe that each individual is the expert of their own life. My practice is informed by various evidenced-based modalities, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, and Attachment Theory.
