Do you feel cut off from finding personal happiness and
contentment in today’s hectic world? Are your relationships suffering or just
less fulfilling than you’d like them to be? Do you have difficulty with motivation,
commitment, and making good decisions? I can help with all of these and more!
My bachelor of arts degree in psychology is from Agnes Scott
College in Decatur, Georgia, and my master of arts in counseling is from Argosy
University in Atlanta. I also have additional post-graduate coursework in
marriage and family therapy. I am a
Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor in
the state of Georgia. My office is in
Snellville, Georgia, which is close to Lawrenceville, Grayson, Loganville, and Lilburn.
I do not follow a “one-size-fits-all” version of
psychotherapy. Each person is an individual, with unique personalities,
desires, and needs, and I base my therapy on the individual person, couple, or
family. Therefore, I combine several of the most popular, effective therapies
to treat the unique needs of the client, using person-centered, psychodynamic,
existential, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. I believe that the growth and
healing takes place within the therapeutic relationship, rather than due only
to the techniques used.
