The way you've gone through life is not working for you anymore, and you don’t know why. You're ready to explore why you repeat things that aren't working for you and you're finding that some issues are difficult to confront alone. I'm here to help. I work with adults, couples, and teens to process and heal unhelpful beliefs, burdens or habits that keep them stuck. People come to me seeking someone who's done their own healing work and can compassionately guide them through theirs—someone who is highly trained, compassionate, and honest. You can create a life you are proud of in therapy. My expertise is in treating addictions, depression, burnout, anxiety, trauma, and complex relationship dynamics. This includes couples in ambivalence, teens working through insecurities to create meaningful friendships, and spouses or family members of addicts. I also provide Christian counseling for clients seeking faith-based support.  If any of this resonates with you, I am so glad that you're here. In our work together, you can expect to feel safe, understood, and free to show up as your true self. I am ready, willing, and able to support you in uncovering the enduring peace and resilience that have always been within you. It is my passion to help you on this journey. Families Facing Addiction Group Therapy (Virtual support group for adults)

Who’s a Good Fit for Group

Someone who...

- Is a parent, sibling, spouse, or other family member navigating the challenges of a loved one's addiction.- Is experiencing anxiety and hopelessness with efforts to “fix” their loved one’s addiction behaviors
- Desires emotional support and connection with others facing similar challenges
- Is curious, self-reflective and wants to explore their role in their loved one’s recovery journey
- Wants to grow in self-understanding and acceptance.

** Family members should have adequate self-care and coping strategies to actively participate in self-reflection activities and contribute to group discussions. **

Group Topic

The group will explore the complexities of supporting a family member through addiction--understanding addiction, understanding the impact on relationships, and sharing strategies for coping and self-empowerment. This group offers a dedicated space for self-understanding, acceptance and building a supportive community.

Group Approach

This is a process based group focused on mutual support, education, and fostering a sense of community among family members affected by addiction. Using a Family Systems framework, family members will explore their own identities, emotions, and needs. Family members will shift their focus from caring for the addict to prioritizing their own self-care while building a support network with others in the group. Family members will grow in self-awareness and gain a transformative sense of strength and self-empowerment.

Group Information and Cost
