You might be feeling like you are constantly stressed out and anxious. You are tired of being a people-pleaser, putting everyone else first and ending up feeling lonelier than ever. You spend most of your waking moments feeling bad about yourself and replaying conversations in your mind. You kick yourself for what you could have and should have done better. Deep down, you want to feel confident, free of anxiety and sure of yourself, but secretly fear that nothing will help. This is where I can help; as your therapist, I am here to walk with you and help you see that change is entirely possible.

Is online counselling for me?

The entirety of my practice is online. In my experience, people can sometimes be hesitant to try online therapy because they think it may feel strange or not be as effective as in-person counselling. I get that, I used to think that way, until the pandemic forced most therapists to go online and both my clients and I were pleasantly surprised at how well it works.  I receive feedback from clients that they really enjoy online sessions and actually prefer to remain online. So, if you have never tried online therapy, why not give it a chance? You might be surprised at how much you like it. All you need to get started is a smartphone/tablet/laptop and a stable internet connection.

Benefits of Online therapy:

  • Secure PIPEDA approved online platform
  • No commute (save time)
  • No hassle finding parking
  • Access counsellors who are not in your area
  • Flexible appointments
  • Be in a comfortable and familiar environment in your home
  • Confidentiality (do not have to go to an office)
  • Research shows online counselling is just as effective as in person therapy
  • Convenient for those with busy schedules
  • Can continue to see the same therapist if you move within the province

About me:

I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside my clients, helping them reach their goals, get unstuck and live their fullest life. Over and over I get to witness how powerful therapy can be in helping people transform their lives. All therapists have their strengths; where I excel is helping clients feel comfortable and safe enough to go deeper and deeper into their own process. One of my top skills is helping clients understand themselves better by working with them to articulate things they have been feeling, but have never been able to put into words.

I absolutely love to go hiking, something about the mountains gives me life. I also enjoy stand up paddle boarding, gardening (or at least attempting) and laughing with loved ones. In my spare time, I write psychoeducational posts on Instagram. You can find me @wholehearted.growth
