About Sally Bonkrude, MA, LPC, MT-BC 

Sally has her Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Music Therapist in private practice for over 14 years. She is a very experienced therapist having worked with a wide range of clients experiencing various issues as a:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor
  • Board Certified Music Therapist 
  • Certified Advanced Gestalt Therapist
  • Certified IFS - Internal Family Systems Therapist
...and she has also specialized in and trained at the Play Therapy Institute of Colorado, Boulder - in Synergetic Play Therapy and works with children utilizing this method of Therapy.

Sally works in Ken Caryl, working with anxiety disorders, issues of self-control, emotional issues, fears, life issues and more - customizing each counseling session to meet the needs of the client at the moment.

Sally also presents webinars, provides Supervision and Consultation for the online Spiegel Academy and has done seminars nationally for PESI (Professional Education Systems, Inc) on “Introducing Music into your Therapy Practice”.
 
As a speaker,  she has presented nationally on topics such as “The Psychology of Music”, “Music Sound and Psychotherapy Integration…a winning combination”,  “Attunement through Rhythm and Sound: Tools for Play Therapy”, and has written several books on performance anxiety; for example: “Performance Anxiety…from fear to freedom”.
