I lead with empathy and seek to understand your past, your current symptoms and struggles and what you are hoping life will look like in the future. My approach to psychotherapy is to collaborate with my clients. My first goal is to understand your values, viewpoints, what you want and what you don't want. Most of us have not really put these concepts into words yet, so beginning right away, this can be very helpful. The next step is to identify the barriers in front of us. These are always present when we feel 'stuck', and they can be external or internal. Find out what is keeping you from your goals and dreams, and start living your best life!

Psychotherapy helps individuals to understand more of the underlying reasons, contributors and factors of life struggles. People are not the same, so every therapist and treatment plan is not the same! I work with my clients on those areas and goals they feel they want to work on, collaborating with my clients on what feels right for them and what direction they want to go.
