Dr.Keller views Addiction as a serious and highly complex condition requiring a team approach. Dr. Keller frequently collaborates with psychiatrists and primary care physician with special certification in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Keller refers patients to 12 Step Programs and insists on patients working closlely with 12 Step Sponsors. At times Intensive Outpatient programs or Residential Treatment Centers are recommended. Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches are integrated into the psychotherapy as well as couples and family therapy. Harm reduction approaches along with psychiatric consultation are often recommended.
