Is a Christian perspective important to you? If so, I’d love to work with you. As a Christian therapist, I draw on not only my education in psychology, but also my experience serving 3 years as a college pastor. I specialize in working with men, and use both psychological and Biblical principles to help guys break free of the cages that hold them back and become the lions God created them to be. I believe in Biblical truth, yet understand that most men need encouragement with God’s promises, not more judgment. If you’re wrestling with stress, shame, avoidance, or isolation, you’re not alone. Is a Christian Counseling perspective important to you in therapy? As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

Faith does not shield us from life’s challenges. Even as Christians, we may face seasons of emotional struggle, illness, grief, or relationship pain. My goal in Christian counseling is to walk with you through these difficulties in a way that strengthens your faith and reminds you of the hope and purpose God has for your life. While following Christ in today’s world can feel overwhelming at times, I believe that God always provides a path forward. Together, we can seek healing, peace, and restoration through both sound therapeutic practice and the sustaining truth of God’s Word.

Having obtained her masters degree from a seminary, Khara understands the value to including one's religion, spiritual beliefs and faith practices in counseling.
